Cosimo's testa , mani e piedi sono stati scolpiti in calcedonio duro , probabilmente dallo specialista in free-standing scultura di pietra semipreziosa , Torricelli . Oltre alle parti in calcedonio , originali anche la bandiera bronzea e i trofei militari . il grande Duke's l'armatura è stata scolpita in legno e i pezzi sono stati montati 1952 .
